Jedburgh Golf Course
Course Description:
| Undulating
wooded parkland course, designed in 1889 by three-time Open champion
Willie Park, of Musselburgh. It has many natural and subtle hazards
and, with small greens and tricky par-3s, provides a good test for
golfers of all handicaps. No blind holes. Jedburgh propose a 9-hole
extension in 2002.
9 holes, 5,555 yards (for 18 holes), par 68 (SSS
67). Course records: professional 63, amateur 65. |
Signature hole:
SEVENTH (417 yards, par 4) – Longest hole
on the course but it is downhill. Well protected by bunkers, a tee
shot to the middle right will allow best access.
