Eckford lies between
Jedburgh and Kelso. Below are directions on how to reach us by road.


From Edinburgh via the A68
Depart
Edinburgh, passing through Dalkeith, Pathhead, Lauder, and Earlston, St
Boswells. At Bonjedward, which is shortly before Jedburgh, take the A698
which veers off to the left (signposted for Kelso). Travel along this
road, passing through Crailing, until you see the sign for Eckford.
Turn off to the right, and approximately 1/4 mile down this road, you will
see Chadlewick Bed and Breakfast on the right hand side.

From Newcastle via the A696 & A68
Leave
Newcastle, passing through Ponteland, Westgate, Belsay, Kirkwhelpington,
Knowesgate, Otterburn, where just after the village, the A696 merges with
the A68, and you carry on Northwards up this road, passing through
Horsley, Rochester, Byreness and then climb the hill up to Carters bar,
which is right on the Scottish/English Border. Travel through Camptown,
and then you arrive in The Historic town of Jedburgh. Carry on Northwards
until you reach Bonjedward and take the A698 which veers off to the right
(signposted for Kelso). Travel along this road, passing through Crailing
village, until you see the sign for Eckford. Turn off to the right,
and approximately 1/4 mile down this road, you will see Chadlewick Bed and
Breakfast on the
right hand side.

From Carlisle via the A7
Depart
Carlisle on the A7, passing through Harker, Longtown, Langholm, and enter
the town of Hawick. drive through the High street, and onto Weensland Road
and take the signs for Kelso. Leave Hawick, and pass through the village
of Denholm. Approximately 5 miles Denholm you will arrive at a junction on
the A68. Turn right and you will then see Bonjedward where you will take
the A698 which veers off to the left (signposted for Kelso). Travel along
this road, passing through Crailing village, until you see the sign
for Eckford. Turn off to the right, and approximately 1/4 mile down this
road, you will see Chadlewick Bed and Breakfast on the right hand side.
